Author's permission for individual papers
Permission from the author of each article is required.
Normally, a bulletin contains several articles, and permission to publish is obtained from the author for each article. However, when you continuously publish bulletins in the repository, it is a very time-consuming work to ask the author for confirmation for each article. Therefore, please add a sentence to the submission rules, such as "In principle, papers submitted to this journal will be published in the UTokyo Repository. If you add a sentence such as "In principle, papers submitted to this journal may be published in the University of Tokyo Repository" to the submission rules, it will be assumed that the author has given permission at the time of submission, and there will be no need to ask for individual confirmation of permission.
Even in that case, if there are authors who do not wish to publish the paper, the paper will not be published.
There is no specific format for confirming permission to open the repository to the author. However, please confirm by e-mail or some other form that will be retained.
