University publications such as bulletins (hereinafter referred to as "bulletins") are accepted for registration by the publisher. After submitting the application form, the publisher will be asked to provide the full-text file and metadata related to the article each time it is published.
The process of publication is as follows.
- Publisher's permission
First of all, permission is required from the chairperson of the bulletin editorial committee or the head of the department who is the publisher of the bulletin.

Confirmation of permission from authors and others prior to the electronic publication of materials is handled by the respective publishing entities. For details, please refer to Confirmation of Copyright Ownership. -

If you are satisfied with the above two permissions, please send us the files (PDF file, metadata) of the Bulletin along with the Publisher's Permission Form. All of the following methods are acceptable:- to attach the file to the email
- to include the URL of the upload location in your email
- to send the media such as CD-ROM by mail (*We are currently working shifts, so we may be late picking up.)
The cover, table of contents, and appendix will also be used for metadata verification, so please send those data as well.In order to provide more detailed information to readers, we recommend that you publish the cover page, table of contents, and appendix in PDF format along with the paper in the repository.
- You will be notified by email when your work has been published in the UTokyo repository. If you want to link to the page of each paper, please use the Permalink (http://hdl.handle.net/2261/*** or http://doi.org/10.15083/***) shown on the right of the detailed page of each paper instead of the URL of each page (https://repository.dl.itc.u-tokyo.ac.jp/~).
The URL of each page may become inaccessible due to system changes, but the Permalink is available semi-permanently.
If the scope of the above Publisher's Permission Form is limited to the latest issue, you do not need to prepare another permission form when you send files for the second and subsequent times. You only need to send us the files for registration.
If you would like to register an article in a bulletin that is not registered in the UTokyo Repository, please submit a permission form (general purpose version) and the article data after getting confirmation from the publisher whether or not the article is acceptable for publication. (The article must have been published at the time of enrollment at UTokyo)
